This flat woven is a traditional hand-woven and handicraft “Tulu Rug”. It is a hand-woven product of Anatolian and Turkish art that people have produced locally and traditionally for their own needs. This product is made of wool threads, hand-spun yarns, on traditional hand-looms as a hand-woven art. It is called “TULU, TULUCE or FILIKLI” by its weaving technique. The feathers used on the weaving were obtained from a special breed, the Angora Goat, from the Ankara region in Türkiye.About 50 years old. It is a used and vintage product. There are worn parts as seen from the back of the rug.
