“JEJIM or CICIM”
A traditional hand-woven and handicraft “Jejim or Cicim” product. It is a hand-woven product of Anatolian and Turkish art that people have produced locally and traditionally for their own needs. This product is made of cotton threads and wool threads, hand-spun yarns of wool threads, on traditional hand-looms as a hand-woven art. It is called “Jejim or Cicim” by its weaving technique. About 60 years old. Vintage product.
The main ground is woven with cotton threads. The patterned and motif areas are embroidered with wool threads. As can be seen, there is no proper size standard in the product. This shows that it was made under difficult conditions and depending on the possibilities.
It was created by combining two wovens with the same properties. We can define it as two wings.
